Some of the recent UI changes have made it more difficult for those of us who use groups almost exclusively. I'd like to see a change so that a user can establish a default group so that every time they post a message they don't have to select the same group. Sometimes they forget and the message is sent to the company network and no one sees it.

Similar to the new threaded view on the Yammer.com website (which I love, btw!), allow a fully threaded view in the desktop client. Currently we can click a link in the timeline view to see a threaded view of that specific thread, but it's not as efficient as the threaded view. I would prefer the option for views to default to threaded or timeline - make it our choice!

The current Windows Mobile (I use Windows Mobile 6.5) application lacks the following, must-have, features:
- Speedy, intuitive startup - it is slow to start which appears to be a program error unless you wait about 1 minute. The phone I am using has a Snapdragon 1ghz processor, so I doubt it is the phone. It likely is worse on other phones. The initial start also goes nowhere unless you press the hardware select button after it has taken some time to load, although no button may be visible on the screen, so it takes some guessing to figure out.
- An option for notification in the Windows Mobile similar to text messages or e-mail notification.
- Touch screen integration - scroll or select of any kind (currently, you must use hardware buttons to scroll and select)
- A reply link / button, or right soft button menu selection, or reply by selection from the tap and hold menu which is the general way WIndows Mobile applications work, so you seemingly can't reply to anything. Reply only appears if you use the hardware buttons to highlight and then the hardware button to select and then see "reply" after selection.
- A way to filter and/or compose by groups by using a drop down menu to show your groups or a tree menu for groups you belong to off of the right soft button menu (currently, you can only compose and this seems to go into the general / all category, with no option to compose for a group).

You could mark your post as a question and all the open questions would show up separately (or per group) and people could answer them. Once you had received the answer you were looking for you could mark the question as answered it wouldn't show up on the open questions list anymore but rather in some answered questions list.
