Some of the recent UI changes have made it more difficult for those of us who use groups almost exclusively. I'd like to see a change so that a user can establish a default group so that every time they post a message they don't have to select the same group. Sometimes they forget and the message is sent to the company network and no one sees it.

Primarily for after the fact spelling corrections, tag adds/corrections and fixing/adding attachments.

An opensocial gadget so I can embed yammer in google apps, etc.

If you included a tool that allows people to create tasks and assign them to one or multiple people within their community. That would be a helpful addition to Yammer.

It would be good if a group administrator could delete messages posted to a particular group. Similar to the inappropriate content function under consideration.

Android Yammers Apps does not have the function to attach Photos . Like Yammer web pages, I hope to provide attach photo function at Android yammer apps when I writing ..

It would be nice to be able to create folders or group files together instead of just having the files listed by filename and sorted by date. Of course documents can be posted to different departments/groups based on their content, but if a group is private the documents are not viewable to non-group members. Being able to group files together or create folders would be a nice feature.

You can't delete files uploaded with Yammer. So if you attach the wrong file or have an updated version all you can do to make sure nobody uses or waistes time on the old attachment is delete the whole conversation. This is not a good idea because you'll lose the likes and comments.

I reported this to Yammer in ticket #31597 and was asked to put it up here as a feature request so it's not considered a bug.

Please. This is the only thing holding us back from rolling out Yammer in the company

Ability to integrate RSS feeds into group streams instead of personal streams only. This would empower the groups working on the same issues.

It would be very usefull if we could have the possibility to have multiple accounts on all clients, including the web browser and the beta-desktop client (ok: iPhone app and old desktop client).

Windows Phone 7 is definitely going places. With Silverlight implementation it should not be hard for you to create a great looking and functioning app for this new OS. Much more so than the app for Windows Mobile 6.5 which is now pretty much dead.

It will also show that you guys are on top of things!

In order to take full advantage of Yammer on private groups, we need to be able to see our tags. This is not possible at this time. Withouth this feature, it is likely that we will not pursue the use of Yammer unless someone has an idea of how to find "trends" without tags in a private group.

It really sucks bad if you have just created a post and had a typo or wrong word in it and cannot quickly edit the post - deleting will not always work when you already have the first replies

So, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE ADD AN "EDIT" Button for the people who have written a post and need to quickly update typos !!!

The current desktop application allows users to be notified when there is a new version of the app, and update from within the app. This is great functionality for many users. However, for large corporates with a managed standard operating environment this can violate deployment policies & stop the app from being deployed.

While definitely not exciting functionality, the ability to disable this update functionality is a must for corporate network administrators.
