I'd like the option to preview a file sent as an attachment to an email post in Yammer. At least in private message view, the only way to view a TIF file attached to a forwarded email is to download it.

This makes the user to get touch with others, share details etc

In my Profile i can enter contact information for skype, twitter and so on. In Europe XING ist a pretty common thing like LinkedIn, but there is no special Path to enter the XING-URL to the contacts. I could use the "Other Websites", but many of our users are using this for their own Website/Blog-URL. So my request is, would it be possible to add an additional Contact-Field called XING or something like a dropdown Box to switch between LinkedIn and XING?!

French users of the Iphone Appli, and may be on others phone, we need a french version.

It used to be possible to open a the user's Yammer home page by clicking on the Network name at the bottom right of the desktop client. This link disappeared in a redesign of the desktop client and there is now no quick way of opening the Yammer homepage. Many of our users depended on this link...

On external networks, where all members can invite new members, I suggest there be an option for the administrators to be notified when any new member joins regardless of whether they invited them or not.

Private groups are invitation only. We'd like to have private groups that anyone can join.

Why? Because posts to private groups go only to group followers. They don't go to person followers. That's a GREAT feature. We wan't that, but we don't care about access controls and don't want to burden group creators with admin tasks.

Just re-compile the iPAD app for the Android 3.x platform.
Or release the source and have community fill it in.

It will be great to have names been shown in the Group directory.
In Members directory, showing group of joined by members also a great feature.

Both of this feature will greatly help HR dept, coordinators or even bosses where they can have an overview at a glance without going into the group to see who are involved.

Our company has two very distinct sides but the same suffix email address. I'd like to break 2nd side out but they wouldn't need to see communication on the parent network side. B/C there isn't this feature, we can only use Yammer for 1/2 the company.

If someone with a digital signature sends an update from email (at least seen with Mac OS X Mail.app), the smime.p7s file is treated as a real attachment. These should be ignored.

Groups want to have a quick reference to external sites - whether they may be internal web apps such as sharepoint, or external professional sites.
Currently in "Groups" the Quick Access section is limited to files - this is too lmiting.

I'm using mac and it is painful to scroll the desktop app because it goes row-by-row, not smoothly. It feels clumsy and I get lost easily what was the last post I was reading.

On OSX with the AIR desktop app, yammer gets into the Task Switcher list and it becomes very annoying when you're constantly switching apps.

Please add an option to hide it, and if possible, move it to the top menu bar system icons.

When you choose to look at user, have the user's reporting structure show up under the info section on the right hand side. Could be as simple as Superior(s) and then a list of direct superiors (could be multiple, one or none) and Report(s) and then a list of direct reports (could be multiple, one or none). Make sure than the names are clickable so that you could pull up the profile of those members as well.
